State could definitely take Nebraska. Dont know if UL will win, but that game will be awfully close. All things being equal ULM should beat the barn...FIU/UCF..two CUSA teams battle it out..who t/f cares. Kansas St is very powerful. Troy aint playing UL so they could easily take this game.. Unfortunately FAU will get beat.. Youre being facitious about the WKU score...get it together and you pound the **** out of them.

One good looking mans opinion,

for reals, playa...
I expect an ugly weekend but Troy, FAU, and USA are the only ones I doubt have much chance of being in play going into the 4th and as well all know if you are close in the fourth and catch a break, good things can happen.

IF we can eliminate the turnovers, I think Troy will be in the game in the 4th. Warning....I have had a little Cardinal Kool-Aide this morning.

All I want for Saturday is to take my check, be "close" in the 1st half, and have no one get hurt.

Here's a stab:

ASU has a slight chance of winning but I have to go with Nebraska. Nebraska handled a tough USM adequately and lost a tough one at UCLA. The UCLA game could have hurt their confidence or mad them hungry for revenge. ASU has to clean up mistakes on special teams and get off to a faster start than in the Oregon or Memphis games to have a shot. If ASU can hang around to the 4th quarter they have the confidence to win.

ULL has a chance, OSU got killed by AZ and killed Savanna St. So you really can't tell how good or bad OSU is right now...they appear to be good on offense and weak on defense. ULL must out score them to win which may be tough in Stillwater.

ULM...are they for real? They just may be in the perfect spot to prove it. Auburn has been beaten by what appears to be two decent teams in Clemson and Miss. St. But the Auburn offense is sputtering. ULM will not catch Auburn over looking them which might hurt ULMs chances. ULM can win this game if they play like they did against AR...AR should have been a better team than Auburn this year...if ULM can play their game they could be our first top 25 team!

FIU has been a mild disappointment so far...bad loss to Duke and a squeaker over hapless Akron. UCF killed Akron and played a decent game at Ohio State...I think the loss of T. Y. Hilton and last years QB has hurt FIU more than Panther fans would like to admit...gotta go with UCF.

USA @ NC State...growing pains...USA does not have the horses to stay with NC State right now...NC State is no world beater but they are good enough to dispatch USA by the end of the game. USA has not looked too good in a close loss to start up UTSA or a close win over an FCS school. NC State wins.

MT @ Memphis...should be a good hard fought in-state rivalry game. Memphis is not as bad as the UT-Martin loss...they gave us a good game...their punter will keep you pinned deep...he's their best player. Karom (QB) is a nice QB and should get better as the season goes....he'll give MTSU some fits. MTSU should not be as bad as their McNeese St. Loss but did not do much to prove it in a win over hapless FAU. MT could win this but it may be tough to do at the liberty bowl....I think Memphis is improving...Memphis in a squeaker but I really hope I am wrong!

UNT at Kansas St...only hope here for the Mean Green is if KSU is still celebrating their thrashing of "U". Sorry UNT...Kansas State comfortably.

Miss St. @ Troy...intriguing...Troy has a knack for knocking off the big boys at home but MSU is playing decent this year...killed FCS Jackson St. And handled a struggling Auburn team. I'm not convinced Troy has recovered from last year yet, especially after the home loss to the Cajuns. MSU in a score similar to the ULL game.

FAU at GA...UGA throttled Buffalo and just dispatched Missouri on the road...FAU still rebuilding...UGA wins.

WKU @ KY...KY lost to it's current in-state rival Louisville and handled a weak MAC team in Kent St. WKU beat FCS Austin Peay and got a sound beating from Bama but no shame in getting beaten by the No. 1 team in the nation! Hard to tell how good either team is so far. It should be a tight game...WKU is playing with confidence and Ky has never been a world beater...toss up! Go WKU!

I will make my predictions here after I make this statement: FIU is not missing our old QB. Yes, of course we will miss TY, but the offense hasn't dropped off at all. We are 28th in the country with 477 yards per game and tied for 31st in the country for passing with 278.5 yards per game. FIU's problems are rather confusing because our expected strength has been our weakness: The Defense. We are not sure why they have struggled so much since we returned 21 out of 22 of our first and second string players on defense. Also very untimely turnovers and penalties have killed drives and prolonged drives for our opponents. Honestly, we look like a very undisciplined football team in my opinion. Hopefully that will change.

I don't mean to call you out JSinLR, but I have seen many other people say the same and just want to clarify. Now onto my predictions.

Nebraska 38 - ASU 27 - I think ASU's offense will make a game of it, but Nebraska is a heck of a football team.
OK ST 44 - Louisiana 24 - I love the Cajuns, but I think OK St. bounces back after last week's loss.
Auburn 28 - ULM 20 - As much as I would to see ULM beat an SEC team again, I just don't think they can do it. This doesn't mean they aren't a great football team, but let's not forget the game is at Auburn. Auburn played a very good Clemson team tight. Yes they are 0-2 but they played two good football teams.
UCF 31 - FIU 24 - I just don't think our D will be able to win the game for us like they did last year. I hope I'm wrong with all of the above predictions too.
NC ST 24 - USA 17 - I won't lie. I don't know anything about this game, but USA hasn't impressed me yet.
WKU 26 - UK 16 - Finally, the Sun Belt gets a win. Avenge last year, WKU.
MTSU 27 - Memphis 21 - MTSU is not as bad as Memphis.
Kan ST 48 - UNT 13 - This one could get ugly. K St doesn't do anything fancy or spectacular, but they run the football very well.
Miss ST 28 - Troy 17 - Miss St looked good beating Auburn. Troy is still improving, but I don't think they are there yet.
Georgia (A LOT) - FAU (a little) - I'm not even going to try and predict a score here, but Georgia wins. Shocker.

Fair enough. Curious how you think UNT will fair against KSU? Hope y'all find a way to win.

Interesting that you think the Cajuns will only score 14 on OSU.. The loss I understand, but UL has 9 starters returning from a team that scored 34 on the Cowboys last year.

I agree that 14 seems very low. Two things about last years score. First, our offense was NOT clicking at that point in the season; and our defense also had 2 pick 6's.
Definitely going to be an interesting game. Hopefully we've got our passing game going some this week!
I think we are better at this point in the season now as compared to last year, and also think OSU is not nearly as strong.
Prediction: One score game; and hoping the Cajuns come out on top!
