They actually lost 2 votes, which makes even less sense.

I agree, my only guess is it has to do with only playing 1 game so far this season?

When you play a Division III team that is what happens....05-stirthepot

Cincy will be fine by mid year and we could see 3 BE teams in the Top 25.

I was having the same thought when writing that post. True example of how actions at the very top trickle all the way down. Texas' decision to snub the Pac 12 is what in the end finished off the BE.

If the texas & oklahoma 4 had bailed to the pac 12, we get Kansas, KSt, & ISU (mizzou still would of gone to sec with aTm), keep WVU, Pitt and Cuse, add TCU & Baylor + 1 more from somewhere. We'd be one of the strongest conferences with big money coming.

Quite the shift in fortune.
I figured we'd fall out of the coaches this week. Can't imagine an 0-1 team staying in 2 weeks in a row. Oh well, good striking position though. Here's to a home victory against Miami (OH) this coming Saturday. Can't wait to finally tailgate!!

It's nice for Rutgers next week--they get to beat up on a "ranked team." STatement time, Scarlet Knights!

Sorry Maize, but TCU was not going to go to the Big East over a B12 invite, no matter who the commissioner was. Same with WVU and staying in the BE, I think, although it obviously would have been harder if TCU were on board and Aresco were commissioner.

Oh, and TCU will not finish the season in the top 25. Mark it down.

True that. However, TCU WILL win the FULMER CUP!! Mark it down.

The season has just started. It's amazing how certain people are making so much over such a small sample size.
The records for the 2011 SEASON speak very well for the nBe.
Wow, Arkansas sticks in the coaches poll...
