Now for you to spin it that Americans have quit looking for work.

That will be 2 terms. Thank you.
firm it's times like this when your lack of knowledge about how this number is calculated is a huge disservice to you.

The estimate had been 125k. 96k was the number. July was revised down by 22k.

15k manufacturing jobs were LOST. Participation rate is 63.5%, Lowest in 30 years.

If you were more informed you'd understand this isn't a good number. And it has nothing to do with politics.
Throw your money into market though. QE3 is coming.

Uh huh. I remember you celebrating about the rate rising to 8.3% last month. If you were more informed, then you would know that you don't really know how many jobs were created until 4 months later after all of the revisions. 05-nono
You're a liar. I invite you to prove I was celebrating it. You can't and won't. Put up or shut up.

And if you believe we really don't know for 4 months then you're an idiot for trumpeting a number you admit you can't have any confidence in.
As I've said over and over, the jobs added number is the one that really matters. When that hits 200,000 a month and stays there, then we've got a recovery to talk about. 96,000 doesn't keep up with population growth.

I've said for a while now that the BLS calculation method is out of date and needs to be revised. It's simply no longer an accurate picture of the job picture.
Since when is 8.1% good news? It's like saying hey I only chopped off four of the fingers on that hand...you still have one. GOOD NEWS!

You are an idiot who doesn't understand the political impact of a drop in the unemployment rate. That's the headline in the paper and on the news. Very few look into the number of jobs created. Stop being so obtuse.

Leftists are the ones celebrating America turning into a low wage, part time economy with more and more people dependent on the government.

This show how detached from reality our centrally planned economy is now. When we get lousy economic news, the stock market goes up on hopes of more intervention.

So you admit the only reason this is good news for Obama is that most of the idiots who support him will think it's a good report because the number went down?

I am a fan of politics. I like the game. I'm submitting my analysis of the impact of the news.

I wasn't commenting on the political realities dip sh!t I was talking about the economic truths underlying the number.

Congrats. You posted two threads in which, at no point, do I celebrate the unemployment rate going up. I'd request you apologize for lying about it, but we know you don't have the character to do that.

In other words, you're more concerned about your guy getting re-elected than actually seeing economic recovery.

Sorry we have 30 straight months of private sector job growth after Obama inherited an economy from your last president losing 25,000 jobs every day, conservatives. Why don't you go argue with furniture?

But seriously it's bad news, although the UE rate drop will grab some headlines which is a gift.

The first one is pretty tame, the second one you are spiking the football a little bit.

They are both simple statements of fact. Stating a fact is not celebrating unemployment. Stating a fact isn't spiking the football. I didn't say I was happy about it. I didn't say "ha, ha" I simply stated facts and even went so far as to say it wasn't good that it happened. If I was celebrating it I wouldn't say things like that.

You lied. Period.
