Pulling for NIU, BG and Toledo now.

BG and NIU are off to a great start! Could be a great day for MAC!
good job bobcats
Great win by Ohio. Good rally back. Solich has definitely proven himself.

NIU- looking very tough

Much of MAC looked bad:

Kent- ugly win versus bad team
Akron- blown out
CMU- ugly win
Miami- blown out
WMU- ugly loss
UMass- was invited why?

BG- Fla making them look ok. Admittedly some bright spots, but, some typically dismal Clawson coaching too.

Our running game was a bright spot in the ugly win. Got the distinct impression in the 1st half we were looking ahead to the MSU game. Felt somewhat better by halftime and much better by the end of the 3rd.

That happens sometimes. Let's hope CMU is sharper...MSU is looking tough.

We made the game closer than it should have been with three turnovers, and our D took a half to figure out SEMO's option scheme. I will say their R-Fr QB impressed me. The experience should help when we host Navy.

I'm worried about MSU's defense and their RB. After last night, CMU would appear to have the better passing game. I can't say I expect us to win, but then, I didn't in 2009 either. And at least we're hosting Sparty for once.
nice effort, BGSU, NoILL, Toledo

Absolutely. I watched all of those games (with a 2 hour 'nap' in between NIU and UT).

BTW, boos to the PSU fans:

They promised loyalty until the end of time. Yet, "only" 97K showed up for the 1st game of the season and first of the new regime.

Does that mean there are 10K fair weather PSU fans who care only about OSU, UofM, etc.?

Does it also mean that PSU fans didn't respect Ohio?
You can't really fault the 97k who showed up, not can you fault the ones who have soured on PSU and no longer want to be a part of it anymore.

It will be interesting to see what their attendance looks like in November if they are sporting a losing record.

I am a lot more optimistic about our season after watching the way we hung with the number six team in country.

Actually, I meant to compliment UB on that. I thought they did a good job.

DrTorch, does this mean you'll not be at the game Oct 20th. Obviously we are in a transition year and nothing much was expected. Hope to see some offense improvements against Indiana and our defense gave up 23 pts to good AQ team.

Most of all Congratulations to Ohio, they looked very good and should be top 25.
Congrats Ohio! Nice kick in the teeth to the Big-10 and ped U.
Ohio #34 in AP Poll. Good job Bobcats. Now keep winning and climb real high in polls so that when Miami beats you in Oxford you will remain in Top 25.

Nice win against PSU

I watched the Buffalo game and they did look good. New AP poll came out and Georgia dropped a slot. Good job UB

and next September when EMU plays there.

Last year there were less fans there for EMU than this past Saturday vs. Ohio.

Could we see say 75K for a game (vs. EMU) next year?

That would be a kick in the teeth for PSU.
KSU plays there next year as well.
Go Ohio! (OOC only of course, BB and LK!)
