I will be very surprised if either NT or MT does not win the regular season title. They clearly have the most proven talent in the conference. I expect both these teams to make the post season.

Little Rock is the biggest mystery because of the extreme lack of experience on the squad – and I mean extreme lack. Almost impossible to pick a team like us.

ULL and ULM probably have the most upside from where I picked them. I still think my predictions were logical, but they could exceed them considerably.

The gap between the have’s and have not’s in the league is pretty large right now. For the Belt to move up in the rankings, the lower tier is going to have to improve in the non-conference.

I would have to pick Middle or UNT to win the regular season, but I'm picking UALR to win the tournament. Assuming there are no injuries to key players, our talent will have had the time to develop by tournament time. I believe our talent could be as good as anyone, and with experience and A LOT OF LUCK, we could get back to the big dance this season.

Pappy, great stuff as always. Every year, this is a highlight of the offseason, and I'm sorry I didn't get to follow them as you put them up.

I haven't been following things very closely lately. Been pretty much disengaged completely for the past month. We've had some administrative unpleasantness that has soured me on our program. Frustrating, because this is very likely the best team North Texas team there will ever be in my lifetime.

Point being, hearing your predictions were up was the first time I had any enthusiasm or interest in basketball for almost a month now. Thanks for another year of offseason basketball tlak.
