CB, but he was new player and not expected to get major playing time.
He was playing WR, not CB.
any issues with depth now that he is gone for the season?

It always sucks to have guys on your team suspended like that, especially right before the season- we have all had to deal with it. But it makes it a little easier to take if they are low on the depth chart.

Malzahn said this is the most talented group of receivers he has ever had, so they should be 'ok'.

Probably means that Derek Keaton a 3-star Kansas decommit will not redshirt if some of the other young players don't take up the slack.
Most sites that I have read said he was a CB but it still sucks to have someone suspended from your team whether or not they were going to play

I understand he was looking good at WR in practice - but I'm certain he wouldn't have been in the top 4 @ WR unless he was a LOT better than anyone realized.

Redshirt FR McKissic will join Stockemer, Jarboe, and Muse and stAte will be VERY good at WR. Probably better than last year.

Fortunately, WR along with RB are very deep. We bring back 5 of our top 6 and he was a newcomer. McKissic and Keaton will be the top newcomers at WR.

That's better than the alternative, like what Louisiana State and Tennessee-Knoxville saw happen.
WR Earl Lucas was kicked off the team today. That makes 4 players suspended or dismissed since Malzahn got here.

Apparently either Freeze didnt handle discipline right, or the players are trying to get away with more with Malzahn in charge.

Freeze lets some things slide. Malzahn isn't going too let a feww players get out of control. Malzahn want 110% effort out of all his players on and of the field.

That's probably my guess. If you ask me - you've got the better of the two now.

I agree, and that's hard to say because Freeze was GOOD.

He was a darn good coach, but he sort of dealt with problems in exchange for recruiting winning talent. Some worked out (See Jarboe, Josh) and some didnt. My guess is that there will be more turnover before this is over. Especially after Malzahn began his increasing his "Im in this for the long haul rhetoric this past week.
