Tigerjeb, I think they are going to try.

I don't know but did you think my speech last night sunk in with a few of those long faces sitting at the table?

If we were still in CUSA, they'd put the University of Memphis on probation.

i was wondering how much real listening was going at that point. i listened to last nights proceedings again this morning and there were a suprising number of salient points made and i got to thinking about some things today that i wish i had thought of at the time. im not a 'letter to the ad" kind of guy, but i might gin one up just to get it off my chest.
Mike Slive's office is going to be busy for a while.

Getting interesting
See, if MSU and Auburn just had Sandy Bell working for them, they would have none of these problems...

Checks? You dont write checks! Straight cash, homey!
I think the media is making a much bigger deal about this than it is.

I don't think we are going to get any punishment from the NCAA. Redmond might be ruled ineligible, which would be bad obviously, but I mean no sanctions from the NCAA.

We self reported the "issue" and have been working with the NCAA for months. Redmond has still been practicing which, to me, is a good sign.

When Auburn found out about Jovon Robinson, they suspended him indefinitely and he was eventually ruled ineligible.

Was it an oversight that you left out the part about the WR's coach resigning? I think Mullen's comments or (lack thereof)speaks pretty loudly. You may be right but I don't think so.
not an oversight. I don't have a lot of inside info, but I do feel like Mirando left for personal reasons.

I agree that the timing of everything is strange, but I don't think they are related.

We'll see though I guess
Too much smoke for everything to be simply a coincidence.
the issue is, from what I understand, that Redmond got a new car before he signed with us and there is speculation that it was purchased for him.

I have heard though that his father passed away and left him some money and that's how he got the car.
That's what they said about Robinson and his Charger, too. Again, weird coincidence if true.
isn't Robinson in trouble because someone changed grades on his transcript?
Yeah, but he'd also been seen driving around in a dodge charger with auburn flags. When questioned he and his mom said he got it with money from a settlement from his dad's work-related death.

You guys have come a long way from DT Larry Gillard losing an entire year of eligibility ('75) for paying $50 for two shirts and two pairs of slacks that retailed for $62 at Miskelly' s Clothing Store in Okolona.
