Come on, name your favorite TV Shows of all time.

I'll start with:

The Wire: So very, very gritty. Pretty accurate too; at least when regarding bureaucracy. Everybody's climb up the social ladder kind of affected the people below them. Kickbacks to politicians eventually went all the way down to whether or not someone on the streets died. It didn't focus on victories for the good guys because they always ended up being more f'ed than what they were.

Breaking Bad: Masterful dynamic characters and Bryan Cranston plays Walter White way better than I ever could've imagined just coming from playing Hal on Malcolm in the Middle.

The Walking Dead: Just a fun show. When it first came on, I just couldn't see how one could make a series out of the zombie concept (I wasn't familiar with the comic). Much to my surprise, the show isn't even really about the zombies.
The Wire
Breaking Bad
Lost
Bugs Bunny Show
Cheers
Andy Griffith Show
Sinfield
Star Trek
Star Trek: TNG
The Incredible Hulk
Lost
Stargate SG-1
Justified
Star Trak:TBG
Looney Tunes
Voltron (Lions)
NCIS
NCIS Los Angeles
No particular order:

Andy Griffith (sorry, probably number one)
Psych
Justified
NCIS
Seinfeld
Game of Thrones
Muppet Show
Two and a half men (with Charlie Sheen)
Hee Haw
Father Murphy (if anyone remembers that one)
The Wire was amazing.
How I met your mother.
Sons of Anarchy
Californication
Mad Men
Deadwood
The Sopranos
Boardwalk Empire
NCIS
NCIS: Los Angeles
Doctor Who
Torchwood
Football games
Basketball games
an occasional movie
the off switch
Arrested Development, Prison Break, Seinfeld, Tosh.0 (preferably the older episodes), occasionally South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, Hardcore Pawn, and Pawn Stars.
Seinfeld
Law & Order (the original, not all the incarnates)
Big Bang Theory
Jeopardy
American Pickers
Top Gear (the English version. The US guys just aren't funny)

Back in the day:

Andy Griffith (only the black-and-white ones with Don Knotts; the newer ones sucked)
Hill Street Blues
I know Seinfeld was popular. But I thought it was the stupidest show ever put on TV. I always hated the show...

Had I ever known any people like that, I'd probably have to shoot them to put them out of their misery...
Lost
Breaking Bad
Dexter
Always Sunny
Arrested Development
One of Seinfeld's redeeming qualities is that the shallow, narssicistic characters typically got their comeuppances by the end of the episode.

Good question, but really tough. Opinions change over time. I loved Get Smart as a kid, but tried watching it once in college, and it was terrible. Like many other, I was a huge MASH fan, but I watched it so often I now cringe if it's on in reruns. So some of my older picks may change big time if I saw the shows again.

Also, I do think Andy Griffith is a great show, perhaps the greatest comedy of all time, but it's not one of my personal all time favorites, so that's another challenge.

So, here's my best effort:

Loony Tunes
Benny Hill
Monty Python's Flying Circus
WCW Monday Nitro
Cheers
Simpsons
Magnum PI
Young Justice
Bob Newhart Show
Speed Racer

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who watches American Pickers and Psych.

GTS- Try watching "Factory Made", it's better than "How its Made".
THe final episode of Newharts second show had to be one of the best ever.
Shows I cared to watch when they were on:

Knight Rider
Blue Thunder
Air Wolf
Hunter
Night Court
Cheers
Bob Newhart Show
Miami Vice
The Boondocks
Black Dynamite
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
South Park
Drawn Together
Robot Chicken
Saturday Night Live ( up through mid 90s... now... whenever I feel like it)
Magnum P.I.
The A-Team
Metalocalypse
G.I Joe
Transformers ( G1)
Batman, The Animated Series
X Men
Facts of Life
The Dukes of Hazard
The Jeffersons
Amen
The Cosby Show
A Different World
Matlock
Perry Mason
Murder She Wrote
The Brady Bunch
**Loved catching reruns of I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith Show, The Adams Family
