Okay. I know I have probably ruffled some feathers within the Roadrunner Nation. No pun intended. I wasn't very supportive of your program as you were fighting to establish your team. At the time UNT was also fighting to get a spot in C-USA and ya'll were competition. I might have been able to go about it in a better way. I hope there are no hard feeling.

Now that we are both in C-USA, I'd like to say that I look forward to establishing a friendly and civil rivalry with you Runner fans. I believe UTSA will have a bright future in the FBS, and I love traveling to San Antonio. Apogee is a great place to tailgate and Denton is a fun college town. If you guys have any questions about UNT or Denton, I'd be glad to help, and feel free to stop by and comment at our UNT site. Next season, one of us will be traveling to the others stadium. If UTSA is headed to UNT, and you are coming up, let me know, l'll have a beer for you at our tailgate. 04-cheers

Hey Side Show,
welcome. No hard feelings from this guy. Feel free to input a comment on our discussions anytime you want.
Thanks.
I'm hoping we develop a nice rivalary with UNT.

I'll always root for Texas teams yes even.....UNT and UTEP
I would like to see UNT take TxSt spot as our new Rival. Its nice to see someone from UNT with class. Welcome to our board and yes if UNT gets the first game at Apogee I will be there to take you up on that beer.
Thanks.
Well now, UNT shows us the good face for the first time. Two cool points for you, you didn't have to post that. I don't know if your comrades feel the same way, but you are welcome here anytime.
There is an opportunity for some great rivalries to be formed between the universities in Texas, Louisiana, & Tulsa come 2013 and beyond.
Thanks guys. UNT's fan base is like most others. Their are some that were very supportive of UTSA from the very begining. As I stated earlier, I was not one of them. Then there are some that still have not accepted the new reality. I do believe we have a great opportunity to develop a strong rivalry.

Being large state universities with large numbers of alumni, in large media markets, I believe we can do great things in the future, if we challenge each other at everthing we do, but remain committed to a strong relationship of cooperation. With Texas and Texas A&M no longer playing an annual game. The UNT/UTSA game has the ability to become one of the biggest rivalry games in the state of Texas.
I'm looking forward to playing UNT. If the game is in Denton next season I'll be there for sure!
Cheers..and here is to developing a strong and nasty rivalry with UNT...It has to be hyped up. Of course the Runners will have the advantage. I would rather have a nice rivalry with UNT over pathetic TSUSM. GO RUNNERSSSSSSS!
Looking forward to developing a rivalry as well. Thanks for posting!
UTSA ... North Texas...That is going to be the next big rivalry in Conference USA.
