I have a question for all of the mommies. I am now down to my home stretch. My due date is Sept 8, although I am fairly certain she will be early. My question is did ya'll get super emotional at the end and anxious. I am wanting to cry all the time and I do at least once a day. I re-watched her ultrasound the other day and cried the whole time. But it was a happy cry. I feel like I'm anxious to go through labor but, I'm also ready to get it done. I'm excited to meet her and I'm also tired of waiting. I'm also just tired of being pregnant. Driving a hour to work and then being there by yourself is also very hard on me.

Whew Am I alone in all of this and just crazy? 03-hissyfit
No, all of that sounds quite normal. It's especially tiring being pregnant during a hot and humid summer. I had my daughter in late Sept. after one of the hottest summers on record. So, I can relate.

The mood swings are to be expected. Keep getting support from friends and family. This time will pass before you know it. Enjoy the quiet while you can. Let us know when she arrives. Blessings!
I'm crying just thinking about all of that.
It's the anticipation your going to be a mommie, you will be fine.
I'm crying about the sleepless nights yet to come, and that's before they get the car keys.
A daddy here but I have three and I can assure you that is all very normal. The mood swings still happen after the baby comes for a little bit. My wife didn't get PPD to bad but just swings in mood.

Very pregnant in crazy hot summer... That's tough.
Think you are emotional now? In nine short years you will experince some of the craziest loons on this earth at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. Probably sooner. I'm surprised kids can be talked in to officiating games out there.
Ok, whew, it's not just me. You really feel silly sometimes!!

I'm already not getting much sleep so I think I'm maybe just a bit prepared for that, but we will see.lol

just had my 4th, he is almost 6 months.

the getting anxious thing goes for dads as well. im a laid back person but over the last couple of weeks of the pregnancy the realization that a baby is coming soon, smacks you up side the head.
good luck and God Bless '79
Just back from the dr, was only 1 1/2 cm today. :( I was really hoping for 2cm. So I cried coming home, of course hubby thinks I'm a basket case for crying. I'm about to start eating some spicy stuff and chow down on some dyers!!
