There is no perfect way to pick the best teams in the country, and maybe some of the coaches don't take their vote as seriously as they should. With Lane Kiffin in trouble over dishonesty about his vote, does anyone have any suggestions about how this part of the formula could be improved?

When he said that the coaches’ vote “doesn’t make sense” because good coaches “don’t watch other games,” Kiffin spoke the greater truth about the integrity of the coaches' poll.
