Every year the DRC Mean Green Blog has a "Get your rear on record" where folks give their predictions for the coming year.

With the season starting in less than 3 weeks, thought that it may be interesting for folks here to go on record with their predictions for the 2012 season. Rather than comment on the selections of someone else, just state your own.

I'll start it with mine for the Mean Green.

8-4, though I see both FIU and Troy as toss up games that could go either way depending how the teams are playing at the time. ULL is the only league game I just do not see us winning.

8-4 is very respectable in this league.

USA beats UTSA, Nichols and FAU. Loses all other games. Finishes 3-10 and 1-7 in the league.

I think UNT can go 6-6.

Careful with that W on Middle Tennessee, they might come out and hand you a big fat L.

Sat, Sep 29 at Arkansas State * at Jonesboro, Ark. W, Tough game… first conference game… we did well on the road last year, we will pull it out. State beat us last year before we hit our full stride.
Thu, Oct 11 at Troy * at Troy, Ala. W, Troy is not quite back yet, and several teams have caught up with them (including WKU for the time being).
Sat, Oct 20 Louisiana-Monroe * Bowling Green, Ky. W, homecoming win!
Sat, Oct 27 at Florida International * at Miami, Fla. L, This is a tough game. Looking forward to it, hope for the best.
Thu, Nov 01 Middle Tennessee * Bowling Green, Ky. W, Looking forward to this one as always.
Sat, Nov 10 Florida Atlantic * Bowling Green, Ky. W, FAU is not back yet.
Sat, Nov 17 at Louisiana-Lafayette * at Lafayette, La. W, actually I expect the law of averages to catch up with us here, but until they prove they can beat us again I am claiming the victory.
Sat, Nov 24 North Texas * Bowling Green, Ky. W, North Texas's last game in the Sunbelt is an "L" to WKU. Something to remember us by.

Entrance requirements don't apply to football players at UL. Even if he wasn't as smart as your average bear he would be playing football for UL.

I have no clue what the 2012 Owls will look like or how they will play, so I cant make a judgement call.

I do think we will beat Wagner and USA, anything else after that is a crapshoot.
