Recently it was discussed on here the apparent lack of baseball talent in Tennessee aside from Belmont, Vanderbilt, and Austin Peay making NCAA Regionals. Well tonight, the Tennessee state champion in Little League from Goodlettsville will take on the Ga. state champion tonight down in Warner Robbins for a trip to Williamsport.
Oh and by the way, the Bowling Green team is playing in Indianapolis for the same thing.
It's non-ETSU related for now, but it does show that there is the potential for solid talent in this state, having disregarded David Price, Dan Uggla, etc...
04-cheers

I heard they won their game. That's great! They're the first little league team from Tennessee to progress that far in about 25 years. Best of luck to them over the coming days!

Now for my sarcasticness:
Maybe the ETSU baseball stadium will be complete by the time these boys are of recruiting age...

.
It shows that baseball talent is located in this region. For those kids to beat Warner Robbins down at their place, that was a big deal.
