When you consider all the turnover and turmoil Pitt has been through, I don't know how anyone could possibly predict how we'll do this year. I just hope the team surprises us in a good way.

Pitt is I'm that stage where you really can't know what to expect. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the conference, but I wouldn't think that it's absolute by any stretch.
We will just have to wait and see how the season plays out.
I'm pulling for Chryst to make a miracle though.

Well reasoned expectations. Totally feels the same way.
The Bearcat game is gonna really set the barometer on this seaon I think. I can't wait for that game to really get an early idea of what this team is gonna look like.
One good thing for us is that we have a pretty easy schedule this year besides VT and ND. I don't think anyone in the Big East is particularly good and think we could win every game in the conference. Aside from that, our OOC stinks.
I echo your sentiments, though - who knows?
Pitt is just an interesting team no matter how you shake it. We could beat VT, ND and then lose to Temple and Rutgers. One week we'll be great and the next fall flat on our faces. I kinda think this year will follow that trend a little.

I sure hope not. I want to refer to that as old Pitt. New Pitt doesn't do that under Chryst.
