Florida State once RULED the football world. 2 National Championships, and top 4 finishes every year from 1987 to 2000.

Then came the crash. Oh, not as bad as Duke, but by contrast it seemed bad. Consecutive 7-6 finishes in 2006 and 2007. How much of it was due to coaches simply getting too old? Check out this graph:

The black trend lines show offensive scoring going down and defensive points yield going up... until the coaches were replaced. Now things are headed in the right direction.
