It occurred to me that since OSU and Penn State are both ineligible for post season play this year, that only leaves Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, and Wisconsin eligible to win the Leaders spot in the Big Ten championship game. Is that right?
Haha, good observation if true but I don't know which teams are in which division, etc. However, it may be time to rename that division. Also, take Wisconsin out of that division and a couple teams from the MAC could challenge for a spot in the Big Ten Championship game if they were in it.
Yes, it would have to be a very bad year for Wisconsin, for then not to win the division this year.
Maybe Beckman can take Illinois to the Rose bowl in his first year?

maybe we can think up a new name for that division.

How about "Lawless" division?

I'm curious what kind of season WI will have this year?
Here are the current updated offshore odds on winning the Leaders division. You need to lay 500 to win 100 on Wisconsin. Now that is a strong favorite. Michigan is the 11/10 fave to win the other division.

Big Ten - Leaders Division Winner Wisconsin
-500
Illinois
+550
Purdue
+800
Indiana
+1500

I'd rather throw a few bucks at the other 3...just because of the payoff. Prolly not Indiana...but Illinois and Purdue for sure.
Well, it's even more appropriate now, since they have a Legends division, the other one should be the Myths division.
