He was not the best big man ever in the NBA, but I do not recall ever having seen a more active big man. He was a whirlwind in the paint.

Considering how raw he was when he came to Houston, I think we could safely say that he was one of the quickest learners ever.

Maybe Javes will turn out to be like him.
