USF is going to have a monster year this year and finish the job. Mark it down I guarantee it. There is a reason Phil Steele and others are on the bandwagon. Talent is everywhere. USF will finish the job THIS year. And score some points for the BE in the process. Major points. That is all.

Isn't Phil Steele always on the USF bandwagon?

Yeah, he is.

Sooner or later he will be right. We are looking good this year and last years record while bad could have been a lot different.

Talent hasn't been the problem.

It's possible though. I think it's wide open this year and someone new could break through.

USF has had talent but depth has been a problem. The past two years our receiving corps had been pretty weak. Heck two years ago we had a QB turned receiver for the first ime and a small walk on as our starting two wide.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Will USF finally get over the hump and win the BE? Most likely. But that doesn't really justify Phil's lovefest with USF every year.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what he or anyone else says but what happens on the field. USF has a very good chance at winning the BE this year and being picked as favorites or cofavorites is not a stretch.
Now the team has to follow thru but it wouldn't shock me to see the Bulls win it ths year.
Athlon also picked USF to be co BE champs so Steele isn't the only one on USF bandwagon. It's going to happen this year and USF will score major points for BE.
WVU won at least a share of the Big East Title in 6 out of the last 9 seasons...and now that they are gone...this wide-open conf just got that much more wide open.
In regards to USF football......I say show me. They can say and predict whatever they want.....I don't care until I see it on the scoreboard.

I am excited about the upcoming BB season......

To win big points for the BE this year, you've got to at least beat FSU and Miami if not outright demolish them and obviously can't drop the Nevada game, which will be tough on the road.

We have done that before its all about taking care of business in the league. Nevada won't be easy but USF beating teams out of the leage has ever been a problem.
I predict USF will defeat FSU at home this year. Not as confident about Miami on the road.

I think it might actually be easier to beat Miami on the road....as Miami now has ZERO home field advantage playing in font of 40,000 plus empty seats at Joe Robbie Stadium.

Miami starts the season with 3 of their first 4 games on the road (at Boston College, at Kansas State, at Georgia Tech), and even if they lose 2 out of those 3...it could be another long year for the Canes.
