Congratulations to the Cajun athletes, who continue to excel in the classroom. Half of your athletes with a 3.0 and an overall GPA of 2.804 is showing the ongoing commitment of our student athletes.

Well, isn't that the point in the first place? How are the rest of the students there doing grade-wise?

I just find it odd we celebrate athletes doing well in school because we are subconsciously admitting they are dumb as hell and it is really nice when a few of them can read and actually pass orientation without someone having to write their names on those extensive one page worksheets where you have to point to where you are on a map.
Celebrating them because they do the academic work while holding down a full time job. To excel in academics while putting in the amount of work required these days to compete at a high level in sports is worth lauding.

That's interesting. I work a full time job and go to school full time.

Someone come over here and kiss my ass please. It is need of some lauding...

As are many, many other students who aren't getting handed an education because "they play ball good".

No, what is really amazing is that you still feel the need to tell me what you think when you have proven over and over that you and thinking don't quite yet understand each other.

As for Cajun T, with all my heart, I sincerely hope he is giving blow jobs to homeless people somewhere in bum**** Louisiana...well, that actually pretty much covers the whole state. It would be good for him to get back to his roots.

But I digress...

My original point being we feel the need to celebrate someone who is an idiot because they can run fast. Then we really get excited about it when we find out they can actually read too! OMFG! No way! So, we hand these morons full rides instead of someone who actually deserves it. I'm not saying I do (because I'm sure you'll imply that I implied that, you know, because you're an idiot) but there are many people out there that bust their asses 100x the amount that dumb*** football players do. Where is their ******* thread?

If they have been accepted to a university, why is it a surprise when they do well if you don't already assume they are stupid? Oh, wait, we are talking about ULL. We all know you guys only see in black and white.

Have a Merry Christmas ZEE! Have a happy New Year ZEE! Have a good weekend ZEE! You passive aggressive taint stain.

1. I never specifically said anything about ULL's education in this thread.

2. I never said anything about my school either. If I had, it wouldn't have been nice.

Paul, you made a good point that has more truth in it than most realize.

You probably didn't understand since you didn't finish reading the statement.

I was basically referring to every ULL fans typical reaction to anything to do with ULL. If it is good then every ULL fan loves it. Say anything bad, and every ULL fan will try and kill you through the computer. There is no objectivity with ULL fans.

Wow, is this the guy you and CajunT were talking about? Pretty sick individual!
Despite his crass delivery, his message is valid, I believe.

All he's saying is when we go around making a big deal out of athletes making a B average, it's pretty much saying that you didn't expect them to do so.

Yes, these kids have major time commitments that not all students have, but there are also regular students who have much larger time commitments. Furthermore at most schools, these kids have way more resources on their side in the way of tutors, academic centers, etc. Not only that, they have people practically babysitting them to make sure they're going to class and doing their homework.

I do think it reflects well on your program when your athletes make the grades, but again, I get what he was saying.

I understood his comments as a working student. I didn’t appreciate his hateful and twisted comments concerning a person that cannot defend themselves here on this board. I think it speaks for itself.

Changing the subject, could you give me some input on signatures…..best way to set them up, size, etc;

Thanks in advance.

Setting them up is easy. Click on "user cp" in the tab near the top your screen underneath the Sun Belt BBS logo. In your left hand nav you'll find an option to "change signature". Inputting a signature is exactly the same thing as making a post in any thread. You just use the add image button(the one that looks like a landscape in between the bullets button and the hyperlink button) and it will ask you to input the image url.

As far as resizing goes, I've never done it, but I'm sure I can help you with that if need be.

Paul if that is your name, I have no interest in going back through threads to find exchanges between you and CajunT. I've known CajunT, Zee, VO, Crawfish, CajunExpress, BOP and a few others for years. I've stayed away from this site in the past because of what I've heard and recently decided to give it a try anyway. I noticed Zee had several new post today and decided to read the topic. It didn't take long to read your post and comments about CajunT, a person that I consider a personal friend. Your comments were both perverted and cowardly, considering that he has no way of responding to your insults on this board. I know Cajun Red to be a really decent person and in no way confrontational, yet you went after him. While I’m sure CajunT was more than willing to exchange insults in the past, your reputation on this board precedes you. When it comes to the confrontations that happen between you and CajunT, I see no victims with the main difference being you are still allowed here and he is not. I have no interest in having dialogue with you because of my friendship with him; I’m here to talk Cajuns and Sun Belt Sports.

I'd like to address this right now.

CajunT did everything in his power to get himself banned, he pretty much admitted to as much on a Cajun board. CajunT and POT had some pretty heated exchanges, but neither one of them would have gotten banned just based off of that. It was not until T decided he should martyr himself to try and make it look like we mods had it out against Cajun fans and this is simply not the case.

I have no problem with you choosing not interact with someone who insults a friend of yours, but I do have a problem with you suggesting that we played favorites in who was banned. They were both warned several times for their offenses, Paul of Troy decided he wanted to stick around and T decided he wanted to force our hand. Also you'll notice that Paul of Troy received a warning for his recent comments about CajunT.

I understand the guy is your friend, but again, he wanted to be banned and we actually held back because we didn't want him to be able to martyr himself, but eventually our hands were forced.
