Magnum Rolle (2005), a 6'11' SF from Hargrave decommitted from F$U recently, but it just became public knowledge in the past day or so. What makes it shady is this line from Rivals.com today:

You know, I didn't get caught up on people ripping on Florida State and Leonard Hamilton because I thought people were being a little to hard on him, but damn this is shady!
Gee, think Hargrave or their coach was getting some ca$h to influence recruits?
With as many recruits that have signed with F$U in the last couple of years, maybe Hamilton is a little cash strapped and can't afford any more players?????? :wave:
I don't know, O.... you just got to think with in the next couple of years Lenny takes flight back to the NBA and then some scandel breaks lose and F$U is left holding the cards....
It will come home some day in the future... and they will get everything they deserve for selling their soul to the devil.

They could always borrow some cash from OSU or Michigan or UMass. I think Baylor's tapped out right now with of the legal fee's and such.
Maybe Hamilton could bring Jim O'brien on as an assistant in charge of recruiting???

most likely, it isn't nearly as shady as it may appear. realize this about hargrave, it is a military school AND it is a conservative baptist insititution. when it comes to image and discipline, they chart high in not one, but TWO categories. students need to ask permission to wipe their own ******. this is the last place that would be caught up in foul play. honestly. they are more concerned about their image than they are about winning, or anything else.
i had a friend who went to a military high school in indiana, and evidently they had a policy where if a player committed to an institution, then decommitted, they were no longer permitted to play for the high school. after looking into hargrave, i didn't have to look far to find that they have the same policy.
rolle was never even enrolled in hargrave. he was just set to enroll as a transfer. once they found he backed out of his committment, they probably told him not to bother showing up. i don't know for sure, but i'm guessing that is what happened.
