Now that we know EMU FB will be ranked 80th at the end of the season (or is it really at the start of the season 03-idea).

Two part question:

1a) Which month will EMU get its first men's verbal commit? (June/July/August/September/October/November).

1b). Which position (PG, SG/SF, or PF/C)? (three choices)

2). (Bonus) Will the 1st verbal commit come from within Wayne County (yes/no)?

For those into statistics, there are 36 possible outcomes (6 x 3 x 2). This includes the Bonus question. It would be 18 without the 2nd question.
1a) October
1b) PF

2) Yes
Bonus prediction #2: We will be picked to win the West in the MAC coaches poll.

I could have re-phased one of the questions:

Will EMU FB have a win before we get our next men's hoop verbal?
Not to be Tommy Technical, but #EMUHoops already has it's first Verbal for 2013.
However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the next commit was a Wing or a big.
I'd say #EMUHoops wins 22-25 games next year with a real shot at a tournament appearance (NIT or NCAA).
God I hope you're right, KPJ. If we get solid contributions from the newcomers, and our transfers pick up some of the scoring slack, we could very well be a contender for a tournament birth.

I think 2013-2014 is our year though.
1a) August. slightly before the first football win
1b) PF/C
2) no

i agree with Sam. '13-'14 is when i think we'll break out, if we're going to break out.

Interesting.

Most of the big men are from Wayne County. Jalen Hayes from Lansing Sexton is the stud PF target from outside Wayne.

(BTW, I'm starting to struggle with '13 names. It is Memorial Day weekend and I'm back out of hoops recruiting form... 03-yawn)

Yeah, i was thinking about saying 'yes' strictly out of loyalty to Romulus, but there are just SOOOOO many counties that aren't Wayne County, and i have no idea where the potential '13 big men play ball. this was completely off the cuff.
