That makes it even more disgusting. Four players make 1st team All-Conference, and the team doesn't even qualify for the tournament. Sad too. Another year of this caliber of pitching, and in order to save his job, Norwood will have to fire his pitching coach like Shields has had to do a couple of times with his assistants.
Pitching coach is only as good as his talent. We all know Joe Kleine is a fine big man coach, but his problem was for several years was that he didn't have the talent with which to work. That situation has seemingly changed. Maybe it will change for the pitching coach also.
That's funny about firing any coach for pitching. My son has been there one year and recruiting is usually one year behind! Coach Rowan came in the summer before last. He has a few quality arms and fromwhat my son says they have put a major emphasis on arms. If that's true, only better! Cause we know Norwood had some hitters. I believe in them, and so does the team

I'm not suggesting that anyone be fired at this point. But, if the pitching doesn't improve quickly, that might be necessary somewhere down the line. You've been watching Trojan baseball for one year, some of us have been putting up with losing baseball teams here for years. I don't know what class your son is in, but if he's here for four years, you haven't had to watch the crappy baseball that some of us have for years. As I said before, I am a Trojan fan by choice, you are a temporary fan because you have a son playing here. Most likely you'll be through with Trojan baseball after your son graduates. Some of us won't. So if you think what I said was funny, go ahead and laugh. I'm not
laughing. I don't particularly care to watch losing basketball or baseball teams. I have every right to complain. If you are unhappy with the program, you can send your son elsewhere to play or go to school.
