Wow...he looks like, like...something out of an 80's hair band

I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering what had happened to him. I didn't remember he was with the Lakers, I just remember that awful knee injury. Good luck to him.

The guy is a serious diabetic as well.
The deck was stacked against him becoming and NBA star.
But man, what a great college player.

we talk about him alot in my house as two of my daughters are insulin dependent diabetics and the oldest one is a basketball player. monitoring blood sugars during a game is so dicey....Morrison showed it could be done. remember that game in Memphis in like 05 or something whenever he had the ball eveyone would just yell and point at him hoping someone else from the zags would shoot it

That was such a crazy game. If I remember right some students threw sugar packets at him.

I guess if Michael Jordan thought he could ball, he could ball. Jordan was only around 42 when he drafted him (not that Jordan has proved to be a stellar executive).

I didn't see anyone throw sugar packs. I heard a lot of rumors that we did which most were coming from zag fans. Only thing I do remember is the dirty sanchez chant.

Shawn Williams never played against Gonzaga.
And nobody form Memphis ever even come close to shutting Morrison down in college.
Rodney Carney was defending Morrison in 2006 and admitted he could not guard Morrison.
EDIT:
My bad, I meant Banks, not Williams

He was a great college player for sure. I remember 2 things about him. One was when he played against us and about beat us single-handingly. The other was this...

Shawn did play and guarded Morrison in stretches and towards the last few mins of the game. If my memory serves me correctly, he did a damn fine job on Morrison.

If you are hooked on wax museums and never going to any kind of game, then yes.

I see.
Shawne WILLIAMS.
I was thinking Shawn Banks in your post and I knew Banks never played against Gonzaga.
I even typed Williams in my post yet was still picturing Banks in my head.
The series started the year after that tool left.
