Interesting. Not because the price has apparently dropped(as it should with falling oil prices) but when you read the comments, it sounds like many places the price is actually going up rather than going down. If true, this should be looked into because somebody is gouging-either the oil companies or the retailers.

Certainly NOTHING to do with Obama energy policy. The "summer" formula price bump doesn't hit until after the Memorial Day holiday. Look for a an increase of about 40cents/gallon at that time.
BTW, since when is $3.60/gallon a good price. Oh Wait, since about 2009 when Obama took power.

Here in Pittsburgh, earlier this month gas was 3.99 and some flirted w/ 4.09. Now its in the 3.65-3.69 range.
I'm sure O's administration is going to look into it and fix it.

If not the administration, someone needs to look into it if the gas prices are going up when oil prices are dropping.

When Bush was in office you blamed high priceson him. Now you blame the so-called gougers even though Obama and his EPA want to put them out of business.
Dropped about 30 cents where I work and also where I live. Still cheaper by about a quarter where I work compared to where I live.

It has to do with refinery capacity issues and moving to summer blends. It seems odd at first blush, but prices in those areas will move down as refineries come back on line.

Down to $3.39 here in Florida. Dropped about 20 cents in a few weeks.

Looks like it is anywhere between $3.759 to $4.199 here. The $4.19 is at a station that is having problems with their pumps so they probably still have gas from when prices were higher and can't afford to sell it any lower.

It wasn't meant to be funny. THat was about the normal price around here. Many of their pumps had those covers on the nozzles and the owners said they were having problems with their pumps. It was a station that has a limited retail area so a loss would have been a big hit. THere seem to be some out there that are gouging but I don't think it was their intent.
I never blamed Bush for the prices himself...just was not happy he never seemed to "really" want to address them or do something about them if he even could.
Prices are doing the same around me as they always have. They gradually go down 30 cents a gallon or so over a 2-3 week period to the low $3.60's then shoot back up over night to the $3.89 range.
