Been out of pocket for several days. Retina surgery. Mean old woman riding herd over my recovery who won't let me cheat. "Keep your head down. Keep your head down!" All day long.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. There isn't much going on now period, and practically no action on the board, but with you out of action, it's even slower.

Sorry to hear about your surgery, but it seems like you're doing well. Got to keep you in shape to keep the board going, especially in the off months.

Back at work, but can't lift anything heavy. Can't lie on my back. Avoid severe jolts.

Sorry you're having to go through this. But you'll be back in full stride by basketball season or hopefully before.

You don't have to lift anything heavier than a pencil do you? You're not an automobile mechanic, so you shouldn't have to lie on your back at work. You're not a prize fighter or an electrician, so you shouldn't absorb any severe jolts. Quit whining, listen to your wife, and get back to your main job of keeping this board breathing on life support during the summer lull. Wish you a speedy recovery Pappy.
