i didnt know there were even 124 teams in the FBS...
The MAC had quite a few bowl wins last year and really most years, yet we're always ranked at the bottom year after year. We were tied for the best bowl record by percentage, with us being the only loss in a close game. Annoying. They talk about "competition level" but when we go out and prove it they just ignore it at there convenience.

The teams that played in those bowl games aren't ranked at the bottom. Toledo and NIU winning bowl games doesn't make Akron any less of a complete radioactive tire fire last year.
Who do you realistically expect to be ranked at the bottom - teams from SEC, Big Ten (well, Indiana is #111), Big 12?
KANSAS (2-10) beat MAC champion NIU last season. And not like MAC was beating up on BCS teams in bowl games, either.

Until we play in the championship game would shouldn't be rated higher than 3rd in the MAC.

When has CFN ever been right about MAC football? I must have been sleeping and missed it.
I'd agree that we are ranked too high until we actually DO something. But, then when I saw where they ranked CMu, I remembered that it was CFN who can't even get basic facts right about the MAC teams.
