A lot of oddness coming out of Page's signing. Originally he was going to Tampa with some UT teammates, and then late last night, the deal fell through and he ends up with the Broncos. Even his free agent signing was an explosive, roller coaster ride.

Here is hoping that Denver treats Page well and gives him a chance. Peyton Manning has helped build some great receivers over the years and Page would be an excellent protege.

What was this kid thinking leaving early? Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Not surprising given Page's mentor.

What is this supposed to mean...?
Rick upchirch have anything to do with this? Springfield HS grad, and bronco great.
I'm just glad we don't have to kick to him anymore! 03-woohoo
In his defense, even a lot of the "experts" thought he'd be a mid-round pick. His coach was leaving and there was some uncertainty about next season. I can't criticize him for that. I honestly thought he'd go higher than Bernard Pierce.

Denver's got a really good player... if they give him a chance to prove himself.

There wasn't too much uncertainty. Coach Campbell, previously our OC, was promoted to HC. He kept a good number of assistants with him.

Really? I wasn't able to come within 3 classes of graduating in 3 years. Were you?

I've heard Eric turned it up in college. Beckman/Cambell got him to study and he really enjoyed his English and Astronomy classes while at UT.
