Obama lets Brian Williams interview him about UBL in Sit Room

“You know, we don’t trot out this stuff as trophies,” President Obama told CBS News soon after terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden had been killed in a U.S. military raid on his hideout in Pakistan. “Americans and people around the world are glad that he’s gone. But we don’t need to spike the football,” Obama added. At the time, Obama cited concerns of inflaming discontent among Muslim extremists in the Middle East."

I guess we're not concerned at this point about inflaming disconent among Muslim extremists anymore?

The man's hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Your ODS knows no bounds either. He's clearly talking about releasing the death photos. Period.

He's given other interviews about the raid and killing. Giving one more, regardless of it being in the situation room or not, is hardly akin to "spiking a football".
How bout the campaign commercial?

Is it my ODS or your unbridled love for him?

But good to know. Releasing the death photos = spiking the football.

Campaign commercial, interviews in the Sit room, saying Romney wouldn't have given the order /= spiking the football.
A politician said something and did another? Well....now i've seen everything
Obaffoon is a unabashed liar, reasonable people have already figured that out. Reason enough to send him packing.
Just a Hipster radical lying scum. Remember when Obama said he seriously considered the Military as a career choice.
Yeah right.
lol you guys are cute
Hollywood is putting out a campaign ad, I mean movie, for him in October, just in time for the elections.
I love the smell of GOP desperation in the morning.

Wow. Didn't some Repug nutjob do the same to Hillary? I think there was a pretty high profile case involving it.
You Obama lovers make me ill. It's so obvious that's he's trying to destroy America from the inside. I can't believe you don't see it. So obvious.

03-lmfao at this thread. No matter what Obama had done w/ these photos (or with anything else for that matter), the wingnuts would be all in a tizzy opposing him. It's hilarious. The derangement syndrome can't be good for the heart. I hope some of you wingnuts are taking a daily aspirin regiment.

I was listening to Mark Latrine..I mean Levin the other day and one of his big stories was that Obama basically had nothing to do with the raid on Osama's compound based on some crap from Not-so-Breitbart.
I don't care that he's talking about it. He should. I'm just pointing out the guy is as full of sh1t as any president we've had.

The point isn't that he's doing it. It's how adamant he was he wouldn't, then did it anyway.
Again, the spiking comment IMO was only directed at releasing the photos, and it was made right after the incident.

You don't normally spike a football at the end of your career for a TD you scored near the beginning of it. 03-wink
How convenient that spiking the football is so narrowly defined.

There are 40 year olds every night in every bar reliving the game winning touchdown they scored in high school.
He will include this spike in every book he writes the rest of his life.

He should've had a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner created and draped behind him. What a missed opportunity.

FWIW, Arianna Huffington is calling the campaign add despicable.

I have to admit that I haven't seen it yet though...so my opinion could change.

Although I don't think there is too much left of any AQ organization to piss off...thanks to the Big O 03-wink
