Sometimes going to one of the best technical schools in the world just isn't enough. Sometimes you just have to prove to everyone out there that you really are a technical genius. And that's just what one student did, by turning the Green building on MIT's campus into a playable game of Tetris.

The Green building has long been a favorite target of hackers on campus, but turning it into a Tetris game has been called the "Holy Grail of Hacks."

A good friend of mine went to MIT (he's an engineer for Google now). As he once told me, "The thing about MIT isn't necessarily the education which is great, it's the people you are around. You're around so many smart people that after hours projects and conversations over beers inspire you to do great things."

The bird seed story is one I have heard before and I hope it's true because it is funny as hell.
