I was at that game. Awesome experience. Check out some of the future NFL names (mostly from Texas, obviously) that were in that game -> Jamaal Charles, Kevin Smith, Colt McCoy, Jermichael Finley, Brian Orakpo, Jordan Shipley, Limas Sweed.
Like most of UCF's games against BCS competition they played great but came up short....again.
However, UCF did start the year off that season by beating NC State in Raleigh. And they won the C-USA title that year, but lost to Miss State 10-3 in the bowl game. But the worst part of the season was a 64-12 beat down by USF in Tampa. Ouch.

Why'd you have to bring that up? We remember it all too well, and USF homers rub our noses in that all the time.

Bruce Miller and Joe Burnett also come to mind.
