If half of what I heard is true (and to be honest I don't know for sure but I
believe all of it is true) one of our new Mac coaches who is from a famous coaching family makes Petrino look like a boy scout.

Apparently Arkansas is looking to hire a current head coach. I just wonder if Beckman had NOT jumped to Illinois, if he would have been considered for the job at Arkansas. I have also wondered whether Pinkel would have gotten the Ohio State job over Tressel if he hadn't left Toledo for Missouri when he did. Former Toledo and BGSU coaches have, in general, done pretty well in their future endeavors (eg. Nick Saban & Urban Meyer).
