2012 Transfer List edition 1

Some names of note on the list...

Nick Turner-Kennesaw
Tyshawn Patterson-Stetson
Glen Rice Jr., 6-5, G, Jr., Georgia Tech
Ryan Woumn, 6-1, PG, RS Fr., East Tennessee State
J.C. Ward, 6-6, PF, RS Jr., East Tennessee State
Nate Hicks, 6-10, C, Soph., Georgia Tech
Demarious Smith, 6-3, F, RS Fr., Lipscomb

Possible targets (speculating. Auburn is pretty close and got Heramb from there)

Willy Kouassi, 6-10, C, Fr., Auburn
Bernard Morena, 6-8, F, Fr., Auburn
Matt Stainbrook-Western Mich (6'9, white boy). Could use him. He went to St. Eds and played with Myles and Delbert.
I didnt hear his name, but Greg Murphy's dad was saying their trying to get a transfer that played with one of our teammates in highschool. Hopefully its Stainbrook. We need his size.
He did pretty well at Western Michigan against better competition. Should at least put up the same stats. Plus if it is him, he'd have to sit out a year, unless they can find some bs loophole.
Dante Holmes from FGCU and Marvin Williams from Lipscomb also on the transfer list.

Team isnt going to probably compete with Mercer next year anyway. Next year should be a free pass, finish around .500 and then start being consistent starting in 2013 IMO.

Yea next year were going to start 2 freshman possibly 3 (still a bit concerned about Markeith) with our 6 and 7 and 8 guy's most likely being freshman as well. Plus Love is only a sophomore. Were going to be a young team.
I just heard he's thinking about leaving school and going pro. I'm pretty sure he'll stay, but it wouldnt surprise me at all if he left.
Yea thats what i heard. He could play in the in the Euro b leagues oversea's...but not the top A leagues over there. He'd prob do better going to the Asian leagues. He's got an NBA body, and athleticism, but not the NBA skills.
Stainbrook is a good player, who should've been redshirted to lose weight. He has very well-known anger issues and has had several run-ins with teammates and coaches.
Hahaha
Stetson received a commit from Oakland transfer, Kyle Sikora per Stetson web site
Nah but a relative! and surprised that this A Sun board is really quiet compared to other boards. Was trying to see if anyone else was out there. Does it ever pick up in chatter?
During bball season it picks up some. But really the only boards that are really active in the asun section are the ETSU one and the KSU one has some activity.
Here's another snippet: “Nick is known as a pure outside shooter that can knock down the three point shot, has good ball handling skills, moves well without the ball and defends very well”, said Indianapolis High School Scout Greg Simmons.

Asphincter says, "whaaaat?" Pure? I'm sure that he "can" knock down a 3 point shot.....just not regularly....or with someone guarding him..... I'm sorry, maybe when he's healthy, he will be the player his high school coach describes....
