Best games on the schedule are ND, VT and Syracuse. Sad to say...I actually miss WVU. But that's only because Pitt is still in the BE mess for 2012.

It is what it is. Not much we could do about it with the B12 defections.
Agree 100%. If TCU and WVU were on the schedule instead of Gardner Webb and one of the other schools scheduled, then it would be decent. Good news is Chryst will be able to have a good schedule for OJT.

And of those 3, only 1 is at home. I expect Pitt to have a really good year this year and I'd hate to see y'all get held back from a title game or BCS at large bid because you have 2 FCS schools on the schedule.
Looks like all your non-Saturday games are on the road, Syracuse, UConn, and Cinci.

We have 3 Friday night games - Pitt and UConn at home, and Temple on the road.
At least on 9/22 you will get a preview of what to expect from the NC ACC schools, as from personal experience I doubt you see more fans from UNC/Duke/Wake/NC State than one of the FCS schools from that state.
Let's find a silver lining in this storm front.
1) Va Tech comes to you, with the possibility we may have to come to you again next year (stinks for us though)
2) Louisville & Rutgers come to your place, so you have a realistic shot to take the trophy with you when you leave.
3) Temple comes to you, so you get some free in-state press, and you won't have to make the return trip
4) instead of freezing your tails off in Morgantown (or PIttsburgh for that matter) in December, you get to sun your buns in Tampa!
5) with all the penguins, bearcats, turkeys, bulldogs, cardinals, bulls, owls, huskies, and more bulls on your schedule, you can open your own zoo.
(Ok, that's the best I can do with this mess)

I think that Car Care Bowl was a great indicator. Pitt/UNC combined for no more than 25K in Charlotte. 03-banghead

We didn't do much better tho.

I got my $$$'s worth... Overall a solid defensive struggle...

You shouldn't have had to. All we in ACC country have heard for years is "if it were in Charlotte UNC would support it"

It's crap. Much like UNC football support is crap.

The myth thast is UNC will support football when it wins is strong, but you've seen the truth. Sure the bandwagon fans will go to Keenan when they are winning, but the road support stays about the same.

The Heels simply do not have an appreciable football fanbase.
If Andrea on ESPN knows her spring football and is properly gauging the talent etc... then more than your schedule's gonna stink... but hey it appears 'Cuse is up a river without a paddle too! Could have a ten or eleven win Big East Champ.

That is true. The Car Care Bowl in Charlotte between UConn & Wake had over 53k in attendance. Wake had a large contingent, but UConn brought a lot of fans as well. Hmmmm, perhaps we should have invited the Huskies to the ACC instead.

It was just a bad time for a game for Pitt fans. 4:30 on the day after Christmas, which means you had to leave either Christmas night or early morning the next day. We definitely had fun there, though.
Man I had a blast down there as well. Road their Train into town and walked to the stadium. Most of the people seemed cool. And for the most part Carolina fans seemed to be great people. One of the better fan bases me and my cousin encountered over the past 4-5 years of going to the games.
NO national TV home games? Well darn. I look forward to watching Pitt at Heinz Field...
Call me selfish but I could care less if a home game is Nationally Televised. I'm at the games anyways lol... Come on down to Heinz mtsufan561 I'll buy some Primantis.

Pitt hosts Virginia Tech, and that will probably be nationally televised.

We need to drink before some games this year. I can't wait.
