Does your school have an app available for download?

South just announced today that an app is available for free download for the iPhone. Downloaded it, and was actually really impressed. We haven't been that current or forward thinking in our advertising/promoting until really just recently. I was curious how many other schools offer some sort of app.

BTW, if you want to check it out, just search South Alabama in the app store and you'll see the logo. It essentially rolled our administrative site and athletics site into one, with some additional nifty features.
Yes, MT has had an app for some time now. They are most certainly handy little things.
I figured we were probably behind the times. Like I said, we've really only recently seen a dramatic increase in the functionality of our PR and marketing departments.
Cajuns have one as well.
Had no idea but just looked on my Android App market. FAU has one.

I guess I'll have to DL it. This smart phone thins is all new to me. I just got one in Janauary.
ULM has had one for some time. "ULM Mobile"
I think Troy would be better of just charging 1$ with freshman tuition for the app and giving out a download code. Just about everyone in college uses smart phones now anyway and that could be useful if it became widely used.

There's also one for students called UL Moodle.

We've gone one for Android and Apple. That is the old interface. The new one is featured in the link below, features slick moving pictures and controls.

We don't tell many people about our Mobile campus. USA and Troy don't know about it.

Oops.....
