Who's thinking about going? Some support for the team up there would be awesome.
From Toledo's campus, Oakland is only 92 miles away!!!
I m praying i can get out of work by noon, ill hop in my car and gun it up there in my work clothes if i have to haha
CIT website says Toledo plays at HOME v Robert Morris on Saturday. Buffalo plays at Oakland. Anyone know what is really going on?
I'm happy we're still playing some bball, but man, this CIT has some issues...this is what happens when you don't have actual "brackets" or clear "rules" on who will host, I guess...although I kinda like the idea of match-ups being made up as the games go along...per Oakland's site, they are definitely hosting UT...you'd think that the CIT site would be correct--for crying out loud, the tournament is sponsored by their web site!
I can wait until about 1:50 before hopping in my car to head over there. Didn't go to the game between them and BG, but sounds like Kampe gets another shot at one of his "alma maters" - played at BG and coached at UT.
Unfortunately we have other commitments and can't make this one. Oakland has always been a tough opponent, the Rockets have their work cut out for them.
At least Benson has finally graduated. Seemed like he played for 6 years at Oakland.
Oakland Coach Kampe was a UT asst coach under Nichols and I believe he applied for the UT head job at least twice---when Eck got it and when Gibson was hired. He may have even applied when Stan got the job.

Toledo will host Robert Morris at 2pm Saturday. Official word should be coming out soon.
Somebody tell the CIT staff that the weather might be nice but it isn't April 1 yet.

UT Ticket Office just called. The men play at 2:00 pm on Saturday at Savage Arena, Bob Nichols Court, Toledo, Ohio 43606.
