Considering:
Quote: Zeigler’s son and star guard Trey Zeigler tweeted this morning, “It’s been real.”
I guess it's a safe assumption.
McBroom is gone too.

he just tweeted

"Bye Bye Central, it's been a pleasure!"

Trey already deleted that tweet. Trying to be politically correct?

Maybe just trying not to be too stupid. I'm sure his dad wants to take the high road and make himself employable. Junior shooting off his mouth certainly cannot help. If he has sense, he says nothing and moves on. A little late for that, but you do what you can.
I'm guessing Derek Jackson is next. CMU's rivals board had a rumor about him transferring to Cleveland St. this morning.
McBroom tweet:

"I would like to thank Central Michigan University for everything and all the support from the fans!! #fireupchips"
Clean House, That's What I Was Hoping For!!!04-rock Next Up, Enos!03-cloud9
=>Billy Taylor next? BSU has improved it's record overall and in the MAC every season he has been there (until this season). But WOTS is he on the hot seat.
Any truth to the rumor that Trey Ziegler will walk on at Toledo? I mean, I just started the rumor so I doubt its true but that would be really cool if it was. He sure seems to enjoy playing here.
=>The truth is that Miami's next HC will offer Ernie Ziegler an asst coach position, but with one small qualification that must be met...

With all the turmoil in Muncie, think the Cardinals would want to give Taylor more time. If for no other reason to make the job attractive to a new coach.
If you ask UB fans they all think Reggie should be the next to go just because we haven't won the MAC Tournament.

=>Being a MAC coach is one of the most difficult. The 12 team MAC is arguably the most difficult league in the country in which to make the NCAA tournament b/c it is a quality mid-major league with good teams, but is still a 1 bid conference.

Fans value the NCAA tournament over anything else. They would rather finish 6th in the league and win the MAC tournament than win the regular season league title and go to the NIT.

Let me guess 03-melodramatic Earnie must not try to tell the new head coach how to coach. 03-lmfao Lol.

There is no way, I think, that Trey can transfer within the MAC.

That is correct. He cannot transfer to another MAC school.
=>He can transfer to another MAC school. I can name 3 situations where it has happened before:

1) Jason Grunkemeyer from Ohio to Miami.
2) Nate Schindewolf from Miami to Akron.
3) Roefiloe Lethunya from Marshall to Miami.

There may be a league rule that if the school does not release a kid, the kid may have to sit out 2 years. I know John Groce would not release Marquis Horne a few years ago when he wanted to come to Miami after signing with Ohio. But in the examples I gave above, the players only sat out one year.
The rule is that a player can transfer to another MAC school, but they can't use their redshirt year as the year they must sit out so in essence they lose a full year of eligibility. If Zeigler went to another MAC school he would only have one year of eligibility in 2013-14.

And I seriously doubt he's going to do that. More likely to end up at UD, scUM or UCLA, where his dad was an assistant.
