Maybe missouri last year was more fun... but they weren't a Syracuse caliber team. When's our last game with both meaning and against a great team? I think this may put us in the 5 seed range.

Live-RPI now has us at 41, with 5 top 25 wins. For what it's worth Marshall is now top 50, not the terrible loss anymore.
the Duke victory at the Alaskan Shootout was right up there. This was such a thrill though. That team that beat Duke had a lot more stars on it. This one grabbed their lunch pails and went to work.
Beating X in Mick's first or second year whatever it was was pretty fun, but nothing compares to this win combined with this entire season. This year continues to become more and more unbelievable.

That was the only loss for Duke that year, but that was so early in the season it didn't mean a whole lot.
Biggest win since joining the big east. A win tomorrow would eclipse it though.

I think a win tomorrow, and a 3 could be within reason, most likely 4 or 5.
According to ESPN, this is our first win over a top 2 team since beating #1 Duke in 1998. Over 13 years.
I say this is bigger than Duke...

I know Duke was #1 and it's Duke, but Cuse is #2 and it was in MSG prime time in the BET....that's a bigger win that a 3am game vs Duke in Alaska any day
I think a win tomorrow and we are a 4 seed. I think that is what uconn got last year. A 6 seed with a loss.
I think we have played out of the dreaded 8/9 seed either way....thank goodness.

although, after tonight, I think we can take any of the 1's on the right night so whatever....bring it
04-cheers

This.....bigger win than duke, even if they were #1. This W got us above the dreaded 8/9 line and gave us a chance to play for a Big East championship. Huge win.
A win in the BET Semi finals vs #2 team in the nation is always bigger than a win in a tourney in November....always always always
Since Georgia Tech, and Damon Flint looked like a legit NBA player.

I'm gonna agree on that....and I thought that UC team was as good as in the final four...damned Donta Jones (was that his name for Miss State?)
UCONN got a 3 after winning the BET last year, they came into the tourney as a 9 seed. When we beat the ville tomorrow I'd expect a 4 at least
Since at least Duke. With what was at stake and on this stage, bigger than Duke, IMO.
I think since beating Michigan State in 1992 to go to the sweet 16.
Beating duke is always big. Duke being the good guys and UC wearing the black hat knocking off the Number 1 team and in the fashion it was done. History will have the duke win being bigger. The significance of this win is sending the cuse out of the big east with a loss.

Cuse will be in the Big East next year. Swing and a miss...
Bigger than the Duke win because of when and where. We knocked off Duke in Alaska early in the season and the AM. We just beat a top seeded Syracuse team at their place on one of the biggest stages in basketball.
