Curious to see what everyone thinks.
I'd say Ball State, but I wouldn't be shocked if NIU beat us tonight. They've played us very closely twice this year. If they hit their outside shots, we may be in trouble, because they hustle and defend the hell out of the ball for a team that has like 5 wins. I expect another close game.
i don't know but i kinda am getting a feeling that Miami might pull off the upset tonight. Charlie might just get them motivated to make one final run for him. plus, i wouldn't mind seeing us play them in the quarter-finals so we can end their season!
During a timeout of the Miami/Toledo game during the live streaming, one of the Toledo announcers, not knowing they were on the air, had a big laugh about the fact that NIU was beating EMU 10-3...always funny to hear these behind the scenes conversations.
It's 18-11 NIU...................at the half.
at this point, I don't think EMU has enough time to make up the 7 points

Miami falls at Toledo 60-53.

Rest of the games are very close.
CMU wins, NIU wins. Ohio's road to the semi-finals just got much much easier.
CMU and NIU win on the road at BG and EMU, respectively. Both shockers.
Wow, NIU men's basketball getting one of their few wins this season in the postseason where it matters and over the #1 team in the West to boot.
The Broncos will see those Huskies in Cleveland. Congrats.
It only seems right that both the #11 and #12 seeds advance.

I Sadly called our demise. NIU hit their 3s. Congrats on the win. I can't help but admire how hard your team plays...plus they seem to like each other. Nice to see that in spite of a really tough year. That Nixon could play on my team any day of the week. Very good defender and not terrible with the ball in his hands.

They're all speaking Norwegian so you can't follow their plays-that's the only reason they beat us!

03-lmfao One of Montgomery's secrets to successful coaching.
OU's road didn't get any easier having that Toledo won. Toledo beat OU when they weren't hot during EAST-WEST play. No one wants to play UT right now. And CMU is a formidable opponent also, zielger is one of the best we have in the conference. If OU wants to finesse everything inside, these teams can go toe up with the bobcats.

Zeigler had a monster game today putting up three points on only 12 shots. Of course, he'll get twenty nine against UT to maintain his 16 PPG average.
I'd take my chances on CMU/Toledo. BGSU and their zone defense always a difficult matchup for Ohio's suspect outside shooting. Fatigue for Toledo/CMU will be a factor. Ohio's bench stronger plus Cooper's post season experience. Ohio won't take Toledo easliy the second time around.

Thanks for the kind words. I think those reasons are why a lot of people haven't soured on this team (or Monty) this year.
