I'm a big astronomy buff ... wifey bought me a telescope for Christmas and I just recently got it - about 2 weeks ago. I'm still getting familiar with it, but here's a pic I took tonight of the moon, through the 10mm eye-piece that came with the scope. Pic was taken using my HTC EVO4G phone ...

I'll keep this thread updated with other things I find lurking in the night skies ... I want to find a nearby planet (Venus, Mars, Jupiter) and see what I can find.
Let me know if you see any Aliens, still trying to convince myself they are out there.
Don't play, you know that really is just a extremely close up pic of your thumb.
I went through a astronomy phase about 10 years ago and bought a telescope....haven't used it in forever but have it set up....when I get home I'll tell you what model I have.

All jokes about Uranus aside, it's really obvious that there's manmade structures on the moon....just saying....PROOF

I am also somewhat of an astronomy buff. This looks like the moon to me.
At least, it's not another shot of your thumb.
