Sorry if I missed this somewhere but I haven't heard a THING about the WAC seeking a new commissioner... does that mean they've tossed in the proverbial towel and are ready to disband? Or are they actively seeking a replacement for Benson and I just missed the pressers?
Even if they lose football, you would think they will survive as a basketball conference. I haven't heard anything either, but you would think they were looking.

Not sure how they can. If they were to lose football their non-football members at current are: UT-A, Seattle, Denver and Boise State...

They should get the Great West Commish. He's used to not having enough teams to be a actual conf. He needs to join the WAC and bring UTPA, UVU w/ him then add Indy CSUB.
The guys on the WAC board didn't seem to like this idea very much.
It seems weird to allow someone like Benson to continue to run the league, when he should in fact kill it football-wise on behalf of the Sun Belt. Conflict of interest? Plan? Strange . . .
