Big one today folks!!!! I'm pumped.

Let's go Cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's to a sold out Shoe, rocking crowd, and convincing BE win over quality team.04-rock
I am at Duke right now, but I am hitting the road shortly, hoping to get in WLW range by tipoff.
Biggest game of the year.

Another binary solution game. Win, stay on the radar. Lose, put a fork in us - turkey will be done.

Drive safely, Bruce.
Just win, baby. I don't need it to be convincing. I just want our point total to be greater than theirs. Let's go Cats!
If we win today at usf and either villanova or louisville, we are a lead pipe cinch. We will have 11 conferance wins, 5th in the conference, mult top 20 wins on the road. The two bad losses were early in the season. Seton Hall has beaten no one on the road. Hopefully, we do not come out flat today. Very important game.

I cannot see them being red hot. No team can keep up with this type of shooting. "The Pirates, who lost six in a row from Jan.13 to Feb.4, have won their last three and are coming off a 94-64. "
This one is huge. If we lose this one, we would HAVE to win all of our remaining games except Marquette. That's a tall order. Winning today gives us a little room for one more stumble. But we are talking about razor thin margin for error from here on out. Gotta win the home games.
Lose to a bubble team at home and I doubt the committee pays much attention to our last 4 games.

I wouldn't say that. We would probably have to win out or only lose one more and win a couplenin BET. Pretty much every game left is a potential good win, except probably nova.
See 2006. They cross teams off early when the opportunity presents itself.

This is as "must win" as they come.

I believe you had a post about a month ago that said if we get to 11 conference wins we are a lock. Period. End of discussion.

It was something along those lines anyways. Change of heart?

I think UC will win today, but this isn't the same as 2006. There are 4 games left after today, 2 against top 20 teams, plus the Big East Tournament. IIRC, UC played only WVU after Seton Hall, before losing to Cuse in the first round of the Big East tourney. And UC ended up .500 in conference. Still a lot of opportunities.
I had a post as few weeks back where I said that due to the RPI getting its mail sent to the 90's zip code that that went out the windiw.

11 should do it, but I fear UC, SH and USF are in a round robin right now.
Got it, agree about the RPI. I would like to think that UC is ahead of USF and SH right now due to the quality road wins, but who knows.

I doubt UC is ahead of Seton Hall right now, but I would bet they are slightly ahead of USF.

USF is about to drop like a rock, starting tomorrow.
They do have a tough stretch but I've been saying that about USF for a couple weeks. :) Insert "Free Beer Tomorrow" sign here.

The Nova game this week was the first game I have watched USF play a game in its entirety. They play 4 on 5 on offense since their PG doesn't do much, but the length they have on D is impressive.
I'm pretty pumped to head down to Clifton for another huge Bearcat game. Should be getting to Mac's for some pre game drinks and food right around 2:00.

But, what if each team finishes 1-1 vs. the other? 03-nerner
this is odd. I don't have the uc game on my Fox sports channel. It supposed to be according to the guide...what a screwup. Wonder if cincinnati cable channels are showing on the reguarl fox sports channel

Try your alternate channel. Sometimes they'll move it there. It's on my regular Time Warner Fox Sports up in Columbus.
