Not good at all. The article mentions that Witherspoon has implemented a 2-3 zone this year and it has worked well.

I'm not real fired up about this.

IMO Buffalo and Akron have the best frontcourts in the East. It will be interesting to see how Flen, Shayne and Stain do against them. McCrea absolutely killed us last year when we played them in the CTI.

Time to get a road W for our Broncos!

I am honestly more worried about WMU than anyone else in the west.
Bull-
take a look at our numbers against the zone. Unless hawkins can figure something out to get around it, you guys might have an easy night with us. However, i hope our team is fired up after how they lost on wednesday night and uses that to their advantage
We usually play good in Buffalo. I don't know how much that will come into play tomorrow night. This game usually goes to the road team for some reason. I'm just giving us some hope.

Man, that is a great play that guy makes in your gif.
Steve Hawkins vs zone defense?? Nevertheless I am looking forward to the battle of the boards. These are the top two rebounding teams in the MAC. Should be a good one.
Unless of course we commit our usual 16 to 22 turnovers, then like other crap games we will have very little chance to win.
I am so sick of the sloppy play, and it has killed us all year. Probably does start with MD. He needs to lead the way to a cleaner game. If we cut down on the turnovers I believe we will have good chance to bag a win in New York.

That's like Michael and women!!

Both teams rebound well and both teams foul... a lot...

Yea, that was Oldham to McCrea to Filzen... That was during a stretch where we started to bury Ball State
Yep, definitely a great play! Biggest surprise is that the MAC officiating crew didn't call it a "travel" or something else ridiculous to spoil it!
And the game begins
Any bets on how long it takes Flen to get his 2nd foul? Im betting before the ten minute mark.

EMU is playing well against Ohio.
1-7 warm up the bus
painful to watch this offense
Both teams are physical, so maybe the refs will let them play. If not Flen will be on the bench with 2 fouls at the 10 min mark.
Only took Stain 30 seconds to get two
Hutch is what 0 for 3, 0 for 4? Yet he won't adjust to shoot the mid range jumper. Just keep clunking the 3's, or fly to the hole and throw some out of control junk at the rim.
1-13..............worst offensive mind in the MAC
Eastern about to beat Ohio and go up 2 in the league.
Chipdip, you remind me a lot of the fan from the Major League movies. The one that tells the manager, "You're Old Mother Hubbard and only Vaughn's in the cupboard." :)
