Most schools have 'junior day' where non-senior high school players can visit.
Has EMU had theirs yet or is it scheduled?
I assume these are considered very important 'first meets' for the staff, players, etc.
Then next up are the one day camps in June where prospects can be seen and evaluated. Players get to tour the campus, etc.
Football has become a lot more like basketball where more and more of the evaluation is done within the prospect's JUNIOR year and less and less during the player's senior year on the field.
(This is why Murphy and staff were at a big disadvantage recruiting this year. So much of the evaluation, relationship building, etc. is done during the player's junior year which was over by time Murphy and staff got on campus. Don't forget summer camps too).
