We had a very good November and December

Desipite the disapionting lose last week I think December will tell us how good we really are

We have 8 games, 5 at home and 3 on the road...the only part about this is we wont know how good we play on the road because our three road games are not against very good teams (Stl, ECU, USF)...however we do have three tough games at home (Charlotte, Wake, UL)...the other two home games we should win against DePaul and Houston

I can see us going 6-2 in January, I think we will probably win 2 of 3 of the though games, then loose a game we should have won...the really good thing for us I think even though again they are all at home is the stretch between Jan 15 to Jan 22...in that week we have three tough games, I think it will be good for us to experience adversity night in and out

I say 6-2 is the best case, however I could easily see us going 5-3 or 4-4 if we get down on ourselves
I see us going 7-1. We are either going to lose to Wake or Louisville, but there is a possibility that if we get on a roll and catch both of these teams at a bad time, then we might be able to go 8-0. I'll be very happy to be at 18-2 at the end of January.

February could be a tough month tough. We will have to travel to Louisville and Charlotte, then have Xavier and everyone knows that will always be a game no matter how good we are and how bad they are. We also have UAB who could give us a game, and it looks like Marquette will be tough again.

My predictions for the remaining months:
January: 7-1
February: 6-2
March:Undefeated (Tulane, Memphis, and Conference Tourny)

Only 4 losses going into the NCAA Tournament should get us a 2-3 seed, and hopefully we get out of the first weekend.
UC will go 7-1, with the lone loss coming to Lousiville because Garcia will drop 25+ points and Max will get in early foul trouble.
I see 7-1 or something close. UC should be hot and playing angry and focused after that debacle against Illinois. The Wake Forest game will be a game where we will see UC try to make up for the Illinois loss against a Top 10 power so I see UC winning that.

UC played Wake well last year. I think they only lost by 6 or something around that. If Paul only scores 20 instead of the 30 he got, UC wins.
The Wake/UC game last year had Wake in control for basically the entire game. UC was always there but couldn't go on a run and stop them defensively. I think the crowd did have an effect in the game. That goes in favor of the Cats this year. It'll be another game for the gaurds to learn and control a game (= fewer turnovers).
