It's about time to look at the rpi.

<a href='http://www.kenpom.com/conf.php?y=2005&c=CUSA' target='_blank'>rpi</a>

I heard somewhere that Huggs defended Memphis as having the toughest schedule in CUSA. The rpi says differently and that it's not even quite stronger than UC's. According to SOS, Charlotte is kind of a fraud so far, too.

The only SOS's below 100 are from Houston (9-5), TCU (9-4), East Carolina (3-8) and Depaul (8-4). We already smashed Depaul, but I warrant we should watch out for Houston and TCU, especially if we play them on the road.
The best part is not only does UC have a strong non-conference RPI (and still two pretty good non-conference games left), but it's actually a strong non-conference schedule. People criticize UC's schedule, at least a few people do, mostly anti-UC people and a few UC fans, but the schedule is pretty good.

Vanderbilt is 10-4 right now and just destroyed the #18 team in the nation.
#1 Illinois
#3 Wake Forest
Xavier
Miami-OH
Dayton, though they're slipping
No. Iowa who has a win over Iowa State and near win over Iowa
Even Purdue, who may not be that good this year, but they're a name school that will get a few quality scalps and give us the rub of the Big Ten schedule they'll play.

So, if we can beat Wake and Xavier at home and win the C-USA title with a minimum of 3 conference losses and win the conference tourney we'll definitely be a #2 seed, MAYBE a #1 seed though I doubt it. And I actually like this team in the NCAAs, at least from what I see early on in the season.
