That crowd Saturday just absolutely refused to get into the game, even though it was close and the team really needed a lift. Is someone putting glue in the seats? I was embarrassed as a fan.

Pitiful. Awful. or whatever other adjective you can come up with. I often feel like our fans were heading for the symphony, but made a wrong turn and ended up at Stephens.
They should dim the lights and pass out pillows and let them sleep. and then blast the horns to wake them up when something really exciting is going on. That's about the only time they act like they are fans at a basketball game.

I once saw Doc at the Jack in a Tux. Maybe he made a wrong turn that night.
Maybe it's time to bring out the tux again. I recall we won that game, so I wore the tux until we lost. I don't recall how many times I wore it before we lost. Might have been just one more time. I wasn't at the game Saturday night. That's why it was so quiet. I bring tons of enthusiams when I'm there.
There wasn't much of a student section and there were no little basketball dribblers at halftime.

Yes, the students didn't show up. But, when they do, they don't get off their asses. Other than the small group of guys and girls that stand down front, the other students evidently come to visit and look at their cell phones all night. I don't have any idea what it would take to fire up a UALR crowd. I'm sure this will bring some of the Newell bashers out from under the rocks, but it wasn't like that when he was here. We used to have some loud crowds back in the Barton days.

No, I think our hearing was just better back then.
