That crowd Saturday just absolutely refused to get into the game, even though it was close and the team really needed a lift. Is someone putting glue in the seats? I was embarrassed as a fan.

Pitiful. Awful. or whatever other adjective you can come up with. I often feel like our fans were heading for the symphony, but made a wrong turn and ended up at Stephens.

Yes, the students didn't show up. But, when they do, they don't get off their asses. Other than the small group of guys and girls that stand down front, the other students evidently come to visit and look at their cell phones all night. I don't have any idea what it would take to fire up a UALR crowd. I'm sure this will bring some of the Newell bashers out from under the rocks, but it wasn't like that when he was here. We used to have some loud crowds back in the Barton days.
