Sounds like a good set-up. Are there many restaurants/bars/hotels within walking distance of the park?

This is great news. I knew that WKU was trying to get the tourny at BG ball park but I didn't hear until now whether they actually did.
Much, much better facility than the on campus one. And better concessions.
WKU hosted UK at BG park a couple of years ago and it set the record for attendence for a college baseball game in the state of Kentucky.
Great venue, encourage as many Sunbelt baseball fans to come check it as can.

In one small area. And you can't take the beer back to your seat.
BG Ballpark is all around a better venue. Excited about the tourney!

WKU drew over 7K the last few years against UK to set the all-time attendance for a collegiate baseball game in the state of Kentucky. Park is very nice and seats about 7-8K.
