I think we might see Tony in the lineup for the Lakers. Kobe went down with a severe ankle sprain last night. (Having had 2 severe ankle sprains and numerous moderate ones, I can say that Kobe doesn't appear to have tremendous pain tolerance).

Heres hoping they activate Bobbitt (he is on the phony "injured" list right now) and get him in on the court.
That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw him go down!! Maybe I'm a bad person, because the only thing I could think of when he got hurt was that it could be a good opportunity for Tony, not that Kobe just got hurt. But hey, when opportunity comes knocking, you have to make the most of it. The key is, will Kobe go on the injured list? I know he's having an MRI today to determine the severity of the injury. His X-ray last night turned up negative. If you go on the injured list, you have to sit out 5 games. If he does, I think they'll activate Bobbitt, since he plays the same position as Kobe. I'm tired of tuning into Laker games and seeing him seated in the row behind the bench in a white dress shirt or something like that. Get him on the court, so he can wow the Laker fans with his 3 point shooting prowess.
You have a point. If he really has a severely sprained ankle I think he will be out 4-6 weeks. However, Kobe is an incredibly selflish little unit, so I would imagine that he will cry to Rudy to keep him activated even if he doubts whether he can come back in 5 games.

I think this could easily become a test of Rudys leadership and ability to control Kobe (which no one has been able to do).
Kobe is :crying: little piece of SH!T.
Bring on Bobbitt!
The Lakers probably will activate rookie guard Tony Bobbitt for their next game, Saturday at Golden State.
This from the LA Times today

That's awesome news!! I've been waiting all year for him to get a shot in the League, and it looks like his time has finally come. Congrats and good luck to Tony. Here's to hoping he makes a good first impression tomorrow night.
Kobe probly likes getting hurt. That way he go to hotels and have "rehab".
That's a low blow, Jarr :)
The LA times has got to do their own thinking from now on. I am tired of beaming my thoughts all the way to SoCal.

:D
