We wanted to wait a little longer to put these out to get a better feel for the crossover games. Needless to say, the top four teams are all out of the East and Akron is leading the pack.

The one team I'd still like to figure out is Eastern Michigan.

IF EMU fans figure out Eastern we'll let you know.

Very, very unusual season, but definitely a pleasant surprise.

I don't think the MAC has figured out the Syracuse/EMU zone.
I think if EMU continues to develop offensively they can have a real solid second half of the MAC season.. They are definitely a team that will only improve be it this season or next.
How can CMU be behind Toledo... they have the same conference record and CMU smacked Toledo.

Coach Murphy probably hates this kind of talk, but winning this season is gravy.

This team will improve significantly NEXT year with Glenn Bryant (SF - transfer from Arkansas) and Daylen Harrison (SG/SF - Wyoming).

IF next year's team plays the same solid zone defense with increased fire power then this team becomes dangerous.

Da'Shonte Riley is rough offensively (he doesn't get many easy points in the EMU's sl000000000w offense) but he is a REAL force defensively. Two blocks / game.

Next year if Riley gets a rebound, tosses a pass to Harrison who fires a bullet to Bryant who... Then EMU will go from slOOOOOOOOOOw to a more up tempo game.

He's a Western fan and likes to take shots at CMU.
