ISU could easily be one of the top teams in the conference next season. With no seniors on the roster and a lot of young talent, this team could be pretty explosive. Add in that Jackie Carmichael will be one of the top 3 bigs in the conference and Nic Moore should be even better, this team could compete for a title and make some noise in March.
Always my 2nd favorite team in the Valley and I look forward to seeing what they do next season.

Basketball: Don't count.
These are Valley boards, basketball is all that counts. And Iowa State isn't that good in football either. If they didn't have the backing of the XII, they'd be lucky to compete in a conference like the MVC. They are what they are. And they're there to be beat up on by everyone else.

MVFC has shown itself quite well the past few years, NDSU is playing for a 3rd straight FCS title in 13 and ISU has made the FCS playoffs again
